National park Krka

is one of the Crotian national parks, named after the river Krka that it encloses. It is located in central Dalmatia, in Šibenik-Knin county, and just a few kilometers northeast of the city of Šibenik. It was formed to protect the Krka River and is intended primarily for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, and tourism activities. It is the seventh national park in Croatia and was proclaimed a national park in 1985.

The Krka National Park features several places of interest. The attractions and facilities available include various footpaths, sightseeing tours and presentations, boat trips, souvenir shops, a museum, and restaurants. There are also several archeological remains of unpreserved fortresses in the park's vicinity dating back to as far as Roman times.

Lavander labyrinth

The Lavender Labyrinth was made in 2014 on the top of the island of Rogoznica. The diameter of the labyrinth is 40 meters, and lavender in some parts reaches a height of up to 1 meter. It is best to come in early summer or autumn, because then lavender blooms, so the scene is especially beautiful. Climbing is worth it also because of the view. From the top of the hill you can enjoy a beautiful view of the center of Rogoznica, Lake Zmajevo oko and all the surrounding islands.

Lake Zmajavo oko

Zmajevo Oko or Dragon eye lake and blue lagoon near Rogoznica. A beautiful lake filled with seawater, which changes colors, sometimes boils, and is surrounded by rocks and is the inspiration for numerous legends.
